From a small get-together over a bottle of local wine and platters to a big birthday with the whole crew, the South Eastern Hotel has versatile function spaces for groups of all shapes and sizes.
With spaces ranging from our intimate Bottle Shop wine tasting experience for 10 guests through to our spacious Bistro seating up to 200, we can certianly help you find a space that suits your occasion.
Birthdays, family celebrations, sporting club events, work functions, meetings and corporate events are all welcome.

Bistro
The Bistro is an expansive space, for long table configurations, perfect for big events and family friendly! Exclusive use of this area will also include the enclosed indoor kids games and play zone.
CAPACITY: 200 Seated or 350 Standing

Beer Garden
This adaptable space allows for private events to be enclosed with safety from the elements and casual patrons or can be opened to include the Verandah and entry into the Saloon Bar for a much larger space.
CAPACITY: 45 seated or 80 standing
COMBINED WITH VERANDAH: 80 seated or 120 standing
COMBINED WITH VERANDAH and SALOON BAR: 110 seated or 200 standing

Saloon Bar
The Saloon Bar is a semi-private quieter area on the northern side of the hotel, tucked away from the front bar and bistro. This is a great area for after work events, birthdays, and local community clubs.
CAPACITY: 30 Seated or 60 Standing
AMENITIES:
• Indoor with access to the Verandah and Beer Garden.
Bottleshop
Wine tasting in our Sip n Save Bottle Shop makes for a relaxed and unique experience for an intimate group.
Pre-order a platter, settle in with your crew and watch the world go by while tasting your way through our 16 Wines of the Month - eight reds and eight whites, all perfectly preserved and ready to enjoy.
With seating for just 10 guests, it's a great little spot for a catch-up, small celebration or an afternoon with fellow wine lovers.

Front Bar
Our Front Bar isn't always available for private bookings, but when it is, it's a relaxed option for casual functions and get-togethers. With plenty of room to mingle, a pool table, TV screens, TAB and Keno, it suits groups looking for a laid-back pub setting rather than a formal function space.
