Free Kids Activities Every Sunday in Mount Gambier
Sundays are for family time at the South Eastern, and our Sunday Funday line-up gives the kids something extra to look forward to.
Throughout the year, we bring free kids activities and some of Mount Gambier's favourite children's entertainers into the Bistro - from face painting and magic to crafts, games and plenty of colourful creations.
And that's before they've discovered our huge indoor adventure playground, kids chill-out zone and kids menu.
It's simple - you enjoy lunch, they enjoy the fun.
Please note: Sunday Funday activities are complimentary for children as part of a family lunch in our Bistro. Table bookings are essential.

Face Painting with Candi
When one of Mount Gambier's most sought-after children's entertainers is available, you grab the chance!
Candi Smith joins us for free face painting, transforming little faces into butterflies, superheroes, tigers, fairies and whatever else their imaginations can dream up.
Face painting: 12pm - 2pm

Magic, Balloons & Big Laughs with Whacky Mac
A little Sunday magic and some seriously impressive balloon creations – local kids entertainer Whacky Mac has become a firm Sunday Funday favourite.
Catch him on the last Sunday of every month, bringing plenty of magic, laughs and wonderfully wacky creations to the Bistro while you settle in and enjoy lunch.

September
Sunday 13 September- Chocolate Sunday A particularly sweet Sunday Funday! Look out for Bluey giving away chocolates to the kids, plus a special chocolate dessert menu available to purchase.
Sunday 20 September - Rainbow Scratch Cards A colourful little Sunday activity for the kids to scratch, discover and create.
Sunday 27 September – Free Ice Ice Cream FREE ice cream with every kids meal, plus all the toppings to create your own sundae!
October
Sunday 4 October - Face Painting with Candi - 12pm - 2pm Butterflies, superheroes, tigers, fairies and plenty more.
Sunday 11 October - Pipe Cleaner Creations Twist, bend and create! Little imaginations can turn colourful pipe cleaners into their own take-home creations.
Sunday 18 October - Pom Pom Making Fluffy, colourful and wonderfully crafty - it's time to make some pom pom creations.
Sunday 25 October - Whacky Mac - 1pm - 2pm Magic tricks, balloon twisting and plenty of laughs.
November
Sunday 1 November - Face Painting with Candi - 12pm - 2pm Candi is back with her paintbrushes ready for another colourful Sunday.
Sunday 29 November - Whacky Mac - 1pm - 2pm Our final Whacky Mac appearance for the year! Join us for an afternoon of magic, balloons and laughs.
December
We're finishing our Sunday Funday calendar with one more visit from Candi and another afternoon of fantastic face painting.
