Community Cashback Tuesdays at South Eastern Hotel
Running since 2018, Community Cashback is our long-standing Tuesday night fundraiser supporting local charities, schools, clubs and community groups in Mount Gambier and surrounds.
Every Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm, we donate $5 from every full-sized schnitzel sold, including takeaway, to the group we're hosting that night.
Community Cashback Tuesdays in Mount Gambier
Community Cashback has long been part of Tuesday nights at the South Eastern, helping local schools, sporting clubs, charities and community groups raise money for the causes that matter to them.
The idea is pretty simple: we provide the schnitties, you rally the community, and together we put a few more dollars behind local organisations doing good things around Mount Gambier.
Each Tuesday, we host a local charity, community group or not-for-profit for our Community Cashback night. From 5pm to 8.30pm, we donate $5 from every full-sized schnitzel sold, including takeaway orders, directly to the group we're supporting that night.
So when you see a cause close to your heart coming up, rally the crew, book a table or grab a takeaway schnitty. Simply choosing where you get your Tuesday night feed can help support a local organisation that matters to you.
Your Community Makes the Difference
We promote each Community Cashback night across our South Eastern Facebook and in-venue on the night, but the nights that really get moving are the ones where the organisation's own community gets behind them too.
Share your night with your members, supporters, friends and family, invite them along and give them a reason to round up a table. When both sides spread the word, those $5 donations can quickly add up.
It's a simple partnership - we'll host the night, promote your cause and donate $5 from every full-sized schnitzel sold. You bring your community along for a generous feed.
Want Your Group to Be Part of Community Cashback?
At the beginning of each year, we put a call out through our social media channels inviting local charities, schools, sporting clubs, community groups and not-for-profits to join the year's Community Cashback calendar.
Organisations or loyal followers can nominate dates that mean something to their cause and, depending on availability, may be able to hold one or even two Community Cashback nights throughout the year.
Participating groups are required to make a Bistro booking for a minimum of 20 people for their Community Cashback night. From there, the more supporters you can rally to dine in or order takeaway, the more your fundraiser can grow.
That might mean choosing a date around an awareness week, fundraising campaign, upcoming project or simply a time when you know your supporters can get together.

We share the following week's Community Cashback group every Tuesday evening on our Facebook page, so keep an eye out to see who's coming up next. When you spot a group you'd like to support, rally a few mates, book a table or grab a takeaway - all that's left to do is order a schnitty.
