Friday Raffles Are a South Eastern Tradition

Friday afternoons at the South Eastern Front Bar are made for a knock-off drink, a crack at our Friday Meat Tray raffle and some of the best banter in town.

Every Friday brings the Meat Tray and infamous Finding Lindy, then on the last Friday of every month, things get even super-sized with our Mega Raffle and a serious stack of prizes or cash up for grabs.

Friday Meat Tray Raffle Night in Mount Gambier

If you've spent a Friday afternoon in our Front Bar, you'll know things can get a little lively around raffle time.

Every Friday, the South Eastern crew and our regulars settle in for the Friday Meat Tray raffle, Finding Lindy, a few knock-off drinks and the sort of banter that's become part of Friday afternoons around here.

Grab your raffle tickets from 5pm, settle in and keep an ear out for the draws from 7pm. Someone's heading home with the Meat Tray - and everyone else gets another crack next Friday.

Finding Lindy

And then there's Finding Lindy.

Part raffle, part local institution and responsible for a fair bit of carrying on in the Front Bar, Finding Lindy has earned itself quite the following.

If you don't, turn up on a Friday, grab yourself a ticket and watch the madness unfold. The regulars will bring you up to speed soon enough.

And whoever finds Lindy might need an escort to the car.

Mega Raffle - Last Friday of Every Month

On the last Friday of every month, Friday gets an serious upgrade.

Our Mega Raffle brings a bigger line-up of prizes and an even bigger crowd to the Front Bar. It's become a favourite with our locals, so round up the usual suspects, bring a bit of luck and get in early.

Make a Friday of It

Happy Hour runs from 4pm to 6pm, which happens to line up rather nicely with Friday raffle proceedings.

Tickets are on sale from 5pm, with the draws kicking off from 7pm. Dinner is served from 5pm to 8pm, so you can grab a feed and make a night of it.

Walk-ins are welcome - we've got heaps of room.

Come for the Meat Tray, stay for the banter. And if someone starts yelling about I found Lindy, you'll be in the know.
